On the Water is a specialty small boat charter serving the lower Rappahannock River area. Irvington residents Gene and Susan Edmonds began On the Water as a way to offer visitors to, and residents of, our area a means to explore the area's wonders by boat. Not everyone has a boat or a friend with a boat!

About Us
Our Sea Pro 220CC is equipped with appropriate safety equipment, comfortable seating for six passengers, and a 200 HP Yamaha outboard engine with trim tabs. Learn more about our services, our equipment, and our people.

Your Adventure
Charter service is available 7 days a week. Our current boat allows guests the choice of a close approach to area shorelines in all of our creeks or, conditions allowing, a run to close attractions such as Tangier Island, Reedville or the Piankatank and Corrotoman Rivers.Learn more about our operating area, and check out some popular itineraries.
